These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AuraPlan's website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
01Use of Services
AuraPlan provides AI-powered retirement planning tools designed for Canadian residents. Our services are intended for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute financial, tax, or investment advice. You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
02Not Financial Advice
AuraPlan is not a registered financial advisor, investment dealer, or insurance company. The projections, scenarios, and recommendations provided by our platform are generated by algorithms and are not a substitute for professional financial advice. You should consult with a qualified financial advisor before making any financial decisions. AuraPlan is not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information provided by our services.
03Subscriptions and Payments
Some features of our services require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described at the time of purchase. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis according to the plan you select. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
04Intellectual Property
The content, features, and functionality of our services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by AuraPlan and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any part of our services without our prior written consent.
05User Content
You retain ownership of any financial data and personal information you provide to our services. By using our services, you grant AuraPlan a limited license to use this data solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services. We will not share your financial data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
06Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AuraPlan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses. In no event shall AuraPlan's total liability exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
07Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable. Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease. You may request a copy of your data within 30 days of account termination.
08Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the federal laws of Canada and the laws of the province in which AuraPlan Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Canada.
09Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
